AI is starting to be regulated by different entities (notably the European Union). In this module, we explore the players on the field of AI regulation to discuss who can and should regulate it, which aspects of it should be regulated and why, and how such regulation could be achieved.

Elaborate in writing your thinking of whether responsible and ethical should mean the same exact thing for you as an individual, for legal entities such as courts and governments, and for society as a whole — try to provide a couple of examples where differences might arise, at least in the perception of some stakeholders. If you lack inspiration, you can attempt to draw parallels between ethical versus responsible behavior in professions such as first responders or members of armed forces.
